The Department of External manages the public relations at UTMIST. In particular, they seek external opportunities and potential collaborations with university departments and clubs, companies and institutions, reach out to academic and industry speakers for various events and competitions, seek sponsorships from organizations outside of the University of Toronto, collaborate with other president and other VPs for club events and affairs, and maintain positive and active public image of the club.
