Introduction

The team will develop an algorithm to assist professional photographers with “culling” – the process of selecting which X number of pictures are the “best” from a larger subset (thousands) of images. The main challenge is personalization. No two photographers “cull” the same way; the algorithm must be able to capture the unique and personalized manner that each user/profile performs their selection.

For the director role, you will be working closely with the Product Idea Development team consisting of Yousef El Zohiry and Chantal Sorhaindo. You will be responsible for assisting with setting deadlines, managing expectations for the team and project, assisting with the collection of resources from the professional photographers partnering with the project. This role also requires the mentorship, supervision, and communication with the Developers team. They will set team guidelines, deadlines, and ensure that work is completed on time and correctly.
